My chest tightens with joy
As I go breathless.

Someone said to me today,
“How did you do everything right?”
I keep doing things that make me happy.
Simple as that.
I can tell you though, happiness is a full time job.
Now that you mention it, it’s not that simple.

This pure happiness
It’s unmistakable.
Your tainted mind
Can’t touch mine
Just try and see
I don’t need you
That’s perfectly clear
To be happy
I just need to be Free.
